Privacy Policy

1. General Information

This Privacy Policy defines the rules for processing and protecting the data of users using the DOCSGEN service. The owner of the service is Aleksander Szycik.

2. Data Processing (Client-Side Model)

DOCSGEN differs from traditional accounting software:

• No Database: We do not store your invoice content, contractor data, or amounts.
• PDF Generation: The document creation process is handled by scripts running in your browser. The server only provides the website template.
• Privacy: After closing the tab or refreshing the page, the entered data is irretrievably deleted from the browser's temporary memory.

3. Analytics, Logs, and Cookies

The service collects only anonymous technical data necessary to optimize website performance and ensure its security:

• Matomo (Self-Hosted): To analyze traffic, we use the Matomo tool installed on our own server. This data is not transferred to external companies (such as Google). The system operates in cookieless mode (does not store tracking cookies), and IP addresses are anonymized.
• Necessary cookies: We only use technical session cookies that are essential for the proper functioning of the generators' interface and the stability of the user session.
• Server logs: Requests directed to the server are logged (e.g., date, browser type), which is a standard procedure to ensure hosting security in Poland and Sweden, as well as in all European countries. Furthermore, this also applies to the USA.

4. Project Support

If you use the "Buy me a coffee" feature, the payment is processed by the external service BuyCoffee.to. We do not receive or process your payment data.

5. Legal Compliance (2026)

The tool is adapted to the data security requirements applicable in 2026. Since no personal data from documents is collected, the user remains the sole owner and administrator of their commercial data.

Analytics and Statistics (Privacy First)

We use Matomo to analyze website traffic and optimize our services. Unlike most websites, our setup is designed to prioritize your privacy:

• Data remains on our server: All statistics are hosted locally by us. No third-party companies (e.g., Google) have access to your data.
• No Cookies: The system does not store any tracking cookies in your browser.
• IP Anonymization: Your IP address is masked (shortened), ensuring that you cannot be personally identified.

We collect this data solely to monitor server load and tailor our content (e.g., tax guides or health articles) to our visitors' preferred regions and languages.
